Pick the Brush from the top-center tool bar and left-press on the model to paint. Each stroke is drawn as a smooth, continuous ribbon rather than a row of stamped circles, so there is no dab banding and no alpha stacking where the stroke crosses itself.
Pressure and presets
On a pen tablet the brush responds to pressure for both size and opacity, mapped through your calibration curve. Strokes taper cleanly to a point on lift-off. Built-in presets include Hard Round, Soft Round, Feather, and Airbrush.
- Size and opacity can each be driven by pressure, independently.
- Strokes taper to a clean cone tip when you ease off.
- A mouse works too, it just paints at full pressure.
Sizing the brush
Plain scroll over the model sizes the brush by default (swap this in Settings > Scroll Wheel). Brush Settings, Brush Angle, and cursor options live in the Paint sidebar.
