Spray Can
Hold the button down and it keeps spraying, the way a real can does.
VIDEO ON THE WAY
Final video is on the way, thank you for your patience!
A stream of scattered dabs that builds up the longer you dwell in one place and thins out as you move. Move slowly for solid coverage, quickly for grit. It paints in the current color, or, with the gradient on, picks a random color along the gradient for each dab, which is how you get a speckled, mottled surface in one pass.
Option bar
- Flow - 10 to 400. How many spray particles land per second.
- Radius - 6 to 140 pixels. The size of the spray cloud.
- Grain - 0.05 to 1. The size of each individual sprayed speck.
- Reach - 0.25 to 20. How far the spray throws from the surface.
- Falloff - 0 to 100 percent. How softly the spray density fades toward the edge of the cloud.
Opacity is the shared brush Opacity from the viewport sliders.
The cursor
Two concentric rings. The outer, faintly filled ring is the spray spread in exact screen pixels, set by Radius. The inner ring is one dab, the brush footprint times Grain, which is why scrolling the brush size larger also grows the spray's grain.
Notes
- The whole click-and-hold stream is one undo step. One Undo removes the entire stream.
- Each dab is oriented to the surface it lands on, solved per dab rather than per stroke.
