Airbrush
The Spray Can's opposite number: the same gesture, and a completely different character.
VIDEO ON THE WAY
Final video is on the way, thank you for your patience!
Hold and it lays one smooth even coat that keeps building the longer you dwell. Soft edges, no speckle, no grain, the way a real airbrush lays down a gradient. Reach for this for shading, panel fades and anything that has to blend into what is already there. Reach for the Spray Can when you want texture.
Option bar
- Flow - 1 to 50 percent, default 8. How much paint each pass lays down. Low builds a coat gradually. It is multiplied by the shared brush Opacity.
- Rate - 10 to 240 per second, default 60. How quickly the coat builds while you hold the airbrush still.
- Softness - 0 to 100 percent, default 85. How gently the paint fades at the edge of the brush.
Size and Opacity are the shared viewport sliders.
Notes
- Moving lays dabs by spacing. Dwelling lays them by Rate.
- Every dab lands exactly where you put it, in one perfectly even coat, which is the whole difference from the Spray Can.
- Each emission is a spiral of small soft sub-dabs, each raycast separately, which is what lets one coat cross separate UV islands cleanly.
- One click-and-hold is one undo step.
