Ghosting

Hide parts of the model so you can reach what is behind them.

Brush over triangles to mark them, then click the eye to make them disappear. Hidden geometry is only hidden: nothing is deleted and nothing is painted, so unhiding returns your artwork untouched. A set you use often can be saved as a named ghost and recalled later, and named ghosts are stored with the project.

Marking and hiding are two steps. Marked triangles get a translucent cyan tint, and they vanish when you press the eye.

Option bar

The six mode buttons look like two pills but are one set: only one is ever active, and Ghost is the default.

Ghost Paintings

A name field with Save, Restore and Delete, and ten default slots named Ghost 1 through Ghost 10. Restoring replaces the current marked selection and hides it, so only one ghost is active at a time. Delete asks first. Escape closes the window.
